- שַׁגִּשְׁיָא, שַׁגִּישְׁ׳f. (שְׁגַש) excited, agitated. Gen. R. s. 87, beg. (expl. המיהוכ׳, Prov. 7:11) ש׳ וטעיא (Ar. בייכא; Yalk. ib. 145, a. Yalk. Prov. 940 בוכה, read: בָּיְכָה) she is agitated and runs about; v. בּוּךְ.
